History of Snickerdoodles
What makes the history of Snickerdoodles so interesting?
- You won’t find recipes for snickerdoodles in 18th-19th century American cookbooks. You WILL find plenty of recipes for currant (a small dried berry that is similar to raisins) cakes and jumbles combining sweet spices, nuts and dried fruits.
